SANASA Federation

The SANASA Federation is the largest people-oriented organization based on cooperative philosophy, thriving despite Sri Lanka's ethnic conflict and socio-political challenges. It operates with primary societies that serve local communities, each known as the "Primary SANASA Society" in their respective areas. Founded on cooperative principles, SANASA is a nonpartisan, independent organization with over 100 years of history, uniting people from all ethnicities, religions, and castes. The federation promotes a bottom-up management style, ensuring transparency and democratic governance, where members have the right to express opinions and vote, reinforcing the cooperative spirit that defines the SANASA Movement.

SANASA Campus

SANASA Campus, an initiative of the SANASA movement, goes beyond traditional education by offering a holistic learning experience that nurtures both the mind and soul. It fosters creativity, discourse, and reflection while equipping students with skills for sustainable development. The campus emphasizes values like selflessness, collectivism, and learning for life. As a non-state higher education provider in Sri Lanka, it offers degrees, higher diplomas, diplomas, and certificate courses. Additionally, the Centre for Cooperative and Community Studies (CCCS) provides training and capacity-building programs for the cooperative movement in Sri Lanka. Set on 50 acres of tropical rainforest, it integrates environmental harmony with education. This serene campus in Kegalle provides a peaceful environment, ensuring a harmonious interface between humans and nature, true to the SANASA movement’s philosophy.
